The Exide GNB Marathon L range offers powerful battery backup solutions for your individual requirements. The Marathon L series provides excellent discharge capacity in medium and long duration discharge applications.
The Marathon XL12V70 is the replacement the now discontinued Marathon L12V55 battery from Exide GNB. In power terms, the Marathon XL12V70 offers an increase in available power against the old L12V55 type, so is a good option for replacement in this respect. It should be noted that the two batteries are not the same physical shape however, and whilst the footprint of the XL12V70 is very similar to the L12V55, the new bloc is a little wider and taller than the old bloc and so care should be taken to ensure the Marathon XL12V70 will fit into the same cabinet or housing as the old bloc.
