Exide GNB Marathon XL6V180 - 6V 187Ah VRLA Battery
The Exide GNB Marathon L range offers powerful battery backup solutions for your individual requirements. The Marathon L series ensures reliability and performance in medium and long duration discharge applications.
The Marathon XL6V180 is the manufacturers replacement for the L6V160 battery which has now been discontinued. For comparison purposes we have provided data sheets for the new battery and the discontinued, both of which can be found in the ‘Product Information’ section of this page. The two batteries are not the exact same physical size. Though the footprint of the new XL6V180 fits within the physical footprint of the P6V160, the new battery is slightly taller, so consideration of this change should be made when replacing one for the other to ensure the new battery will fit into an existing battery cabinet or rack. In terms of power, the XL6V180 does offer a higher power rating than the old bloc, increasing the run time of the standby application this battery is installed into.
