The NP7-12L has a wider faston tab connecter at 6.35mm wide, known as an F2 tab, this makes it particularly suitable for high discharge applications such as UPS systems, as it allows for a higher current to be able to pass through the terminal. The NP7-12 has a narrow faston tab connector at 4.85mm wide, known as an F1 tab, this type has the benefit of being suitable for all faston battery connectors.
