The Fiamm 12FGH23 is a 12V 5Ah battery suitable for use in a vast range of lawnmowers. This battery replaces the Fiamm FGH20502, being identical in both power rating and physical size. The 12FGH23 lawnmower battery is equipped with a 6.3mm wide F2 type terminal, which is a wider terminal from the standard 4.8mm wide found on other batteries, the F2 terminal allows for a greater current draw and higher starting capacity for your mower. The terminal itself is a simple slide on, slide off design, which makes fitting the battery as easy as possible when replacing like for like battery sizes and connection arrangements.

The terminal width on the FG20451 is 4.8mm wide F1 type, the terminal on the 12FGH23 is a wider 6.3mm wide F2 type. The wide terminal provides an increase in potential current from the battery which enables greater starting power. Not all lawn mower battery connectors will be able to fit the wider terminal on this battery so is best to make sure your mower is able to accommodate the F2 type terminal prior to purchase.
